You must use Cogent lawfully and have authority to provide the information and instructions you submit.
You must not use Cogent to send spam or unauthorized communications, commit fraud, impersonate others, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with our services, or bypass security or access restrictions.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and connected accounts.
AI-assisted features
Cogent uses AI to assist with requests. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
Review outputs and proposed actions before relying on them. You remain responsible for the communications and actions you authorize. Cogent is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.
Communications
Cogent may allow you to prepare and send communications through connected providers, including from a phone number assigned to your assistant.
You must have the right to contact each recipient and obtain any required consent before sending messages. You must honor requests to stop receiving communications. Approving a message in Cogent does not establish the recipient’s consent.
Feature availability and delivery depend on provider requirements, account configuration, and applicable restrictions. We do not guarantee that a communication will be accepted or delivered.
Text messaging
Text messages sent through Cogent are initiated by users. Their content and frequency depend on the communications those users authorize.
Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
If you receive an unwanted text sent through Cogent, contact the sender or email sheraz@cogentofficial.com with the sending number and relevant details. For assistance with messaging, use the same email address.
These Terms do not themselves enroll anyone in a text messaging program or grant consent to receive text messages.
Your content
You retain any rights you hold in content you provide. You authorize us to process and transmit that content as necessary to provide the features you request, including through connected service providers.
As between you and Cogent, we do not claim ownership of outputs generated for you. AI outputs may not be unique, and these Terms do not guarantee that an output qualifies for intellectual property protection or is free of third-party rights.
Cogent retains its rights in its software, website, name, and branding.
Third-party services
Connected services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability, functionality, and restrictions may change independently of Cogent.
